Our School
Douglas Memorial High School is a recognised Christian Minority, co-educational institution established in 1984 with a view to impart education whereby promote and uplift the living conditions of the people of tribal areas in and around Manipur and other neighboring states. Founded by Rev. Lalngailien Joute, it was affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur in 1992. The first batch of Class X started from 1993, and has since being witnessing excellent results.

Equipped with an 80-bed hostel facility, classes are run in three buildings for different sections viz Primary, Secondary and Senior sections. It also has laboratories for special learnings and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 200.
The school does not receive any financial aid, either from domestic or foreign sources. It is run solely with school fees.

Our Mission
The aim of the school is to impart integrated and comprehensive education which is formative and informative as well. It lays emphasis on an all-round development to students' character and personality which leads them to self fulfilment and dedicated service to society. It also teaches to imbibe humanity, understanding and reverence for all around under Christian leadership based on Christian principles. Above all, the school aims at preparing a child to face the reality of life with courage and truth.
