The Headmaster and teaching staff of DOUGLAS MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL, Rengkai  express our heartfelt gratitude for the acknowledgement given to our brave student Miss Maryjone Lalhruaitluangi Class X by the 6th SIKH LIGHT INFANTRY, Khuga Battalion, Churachandpur for her daring and timely venture to a boy who drowned in Khuga River on 15th April, 2018 and saved his life. We honour and applaud the cash and kind awarded to her by Col MK Verma CO and his team and their declaration of giving a befitting recommendation to receive a National Bravery Award by the Govt. Of India.
